SUPERVISION

Supervision is a supportive process of reflection upon the counsellor’s work to further develop knowledge and skills and to increase professional awareness.

COVID-19 NOTICE

During the COVID-19 pandemic all group sessions will be conducted via Skype and solo sessions can be by either phone or Skype.

 

PURPOSE, GOALS and OBJECTIVES of SUPERVISION

1. Monitor and promote welfare of clients seen by supervisee.

2. Promote development of supervisee’s professional identity and competence.

3. Fulfill requirement for supervisee’s certification and accreditation.

4. Fulfill membership requirement of the Australian Counselling Association.

5. Prevent burnout for counsellor.

Kathy offers Solo Supervision at $70.00 per one-hour session ($60.00 for students) and group supervision at $40.00 per two-hour session ($35.00 for students). Solo supervision is offered face-to-face* in my office, or via telephone or Skype at a booked time. *Refer to note above re COVID-19 pandemic.

Group Supervision is held on the LAST TUESDAY EVENING of the month 6pm – 8pm.

Remember to bring your ACA green book and you will receive 2 points for 2 hours’ group supervision.
